Christmas 2016 - Christmas Morning and Merry Kiltmas!

Sunday December 25, 2016

Dale was awake when I got up. We had a quiet Christmas morning of coffee and reading.
Last night, on Christmas Eve, I began a ghost story titled One Who Saw by A.M. Burrage. It was atmospheric and creepy to say the least. I've taken an interest in ghost stories for Christmas over the past couple of years beginning when we started telling personal ones at Noel's annual holiday fete a couple years ago.

And by the way, Merry Kiltmas!

MN State Fair 2011

Why am I writing about the State Fair for a Christmas blog? Well, Dale and I went to the Fair last night and at the Agriculture/Horticulture building we saw the prize winning Christmas trees. When we walked through the area in which they are displayed the scent of pine was wonderfully overwhelming. It's the first time I've even noticed Christmas trees at the fair and I must say they were some of the most perfectly conical tree I've ever seen. There were prize winning wreaths too.
