Christmas Day 2017 - Merry Kiltmas

I wore my kilt for Christmas Day dinner.

So nice to spend the day with Mom and Day.

Mom brought over chocolate covered cherries which were always Dad's favorites.

Presents for Dad

My father died four years ago today. I remember as a kid never knowing what to get him for Christmas. In the 70's I'd usually get him English Leather cologne from the drugstore. He wore it and I loved the smell of it. Mom always suggested getting him chocolate covered cherries. He loved those. As I got older I tended to give him tools and he really loved those. I miss him very much and often think how wonderful it would be to have the opportunity to give him a gift again.
